Reviews
Mr Pickersgill is one of the most genuine, nicest and truly caring Consultant's I
have met. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and good at his job, but he's also got a way of making people immediately feel at ease and relaxed, which is a rare and extremely valuable quality to have.
I have recommended him numerous times to family and colleagues and everyone remains impressed.
Friendly and empathetic, he listened to me and once we agreed on the best treatment I was provided all the information I needed. The procedure was a success and I am very grateful. Wish I had booked to see him sooner.
Prior to my operation, I received a telephone consultation whereby Mr Pickersgill gave detailed explanation of what the procedures would entail. This gave me reassurance of what I would be going through during the operation.
On the morning of the operation, Mr Pickersgill once again came to see me to explain the procedures during and after the operation. It was great to know what to expect.
I found Mr Pickersgill very approachable, pleasant and friendly. He certainly comes across as very experienced and knowledgeable in his area of expertiese and I would certainly recommend Mr Pickersgill to my friends and my family if the hour of need arises.
Many thanks also to Mr Pickersgill team for being there and answering all my queries.
Deep gratitude to Mr Pickersgill for being so thorough.
Complete confidence, highly recommend. Quickly arranged the investigations needed. I would have no hesitation to go back if I need further help with gynae issues. Lovely consultant who is very caring in his approach.
I have been a private patient of Mr Pickersgill since 2016. I’d been diagnosed with severe endometriosis having been ignored for 25 years. I decided to go down the private route and chose him having done A LOT of research (even though it meant I needed to travel for two hours). I had laparoscopic excision with him and although he then also diagnosed adenomyosis, I was pain free for a number of years.
After the onset of menopause, I discovered I had a fibroid and consulted Mr Pickersgill regarding HRT. With his well considered advice I proceeded but started to experience heavy bleeding etc. So I ultimately chose to have a total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. It was a complex surgery and I lost a great deal of blood. But I woke up pain free and feeling amazing. I can’t thank him enough. I’ve got my life back and I wish I’d done it sooner. He’s the kindest, most caring doctor I’ve ever met and now I know how incredibly skilled he really is. Despite me living so far away, his level of after care (as well as help from Gabby his Secretary) was prompt and thorough.
I cannot thank him enough and highly recommend him.
